Agenda for inaugural meeting of CellML.org Design & Content Working Group - Mon 12/05/08

Primary Items:
  • Sites goals: what information are we trying to disseminate, and to whom, and for what purpose
  • Content audit: what are we currently publishing, and what areas are we missing
  • Information architecture: how can we best structure our information so users can effectively find information, and more importantly keep coming back to the site
  • Identity: the site uses the default Plone skin. This looks unprofessional, and we should investigate getting a template designed. What budget is there for this work? We should address this point last, after the more important issues (above) have been dealt with.

Secondary Items:
  • Proposal that a 'working groups' category be added under the listing on the left of the site. This section would contain information on working groups such as this one.
  • Proposal that notification of the creation of this committee be sent to the CellML Discussion List, and that the general community be asked what they would like this group to address.
