ABI CellML Meeting Minutes, 19th of May, 2010
1. OpenCell development update
Justin has been working on getting IDA support working from within OpenCell, but has run into a few problems with the XPT system.
2. CellML API development update
Justin has been working with Sarala to try to get the API building on her 64 bit Windows 7 machine.
Andrew has been working on getting IDA working, using the levmar solver library for initial condition solving - it now runs the Saucerman et. al. 2003 model, but only if initial conditions are provided for the state variables. Initial values for the rates are automatically computed without a need for them to be supplied (and there is, in fact, no mechanism to supply them anyway).
Andrew has also been working on fixing a problem with the build system for Java bindings, which has been affecting Morgan and Allyson's work. Catherine noted that she will be meeting with Morgan and Allyson next week.
3. CellML Specifications
No update this week.
4. Repository contributions
Catherine has been asked by Peter to look into a rumen model. There was some discussion of the complexity - the consensus was that it is quite a big model, but the complexity isn't that high, and it is a lumped parameter model.
5. PMR2
Catherine has tested PMR2, and found that some of the images didn't work due to incorrect URIs.
Tommy noted that he still hasn't had much feedback on PMR2.
Tommy now has the ability to theme the repository based on the URL working. This allows him to, for example, put a different URL on the site when it is accessed from models.physiomeproject.org compared to models.cellml.org.
