5th International CellML Workshop (2011)
The University of Auckland
11 - 12 April 2011
The annual CellML workshop in 2011 was held at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute at The University of Auckland Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th April. These meetings aim to bring together the growing community of CellML developers and users to discuss recent developments and future plans.
Programme
The programme is available, and talks are being uploaded to Nature Precedings under the CellML Workshop 2011 collection.
Remote attendance at the workshop
Remote attendance for the workshop was possible using EVO. The EVO meeting details are available on the remote attendance page. EVO recordings for all sessions are available thanks to the BeSTGRID Media Streaming Server for CellML.
Delegate Listing
The listing of registered participants is available.
Supplementary Material
The afternoon sessions on both days consist primarily of discussion of two hot topics in the CellML community at the moment. Monday afternoon is devoted to metadata and Tuesday to the future of CellML. The aim in both cases is to come up with roadmaps for getting the next version of the metadata and CellML specifications released. To make the discussions more fruitful, it would be good to be a little familiar with the current drafts of the new CellML metadata specifications and proposals for CellML 1.2:
- Mike Cooling's draft CellML metadata specifications;
- Tracker item 55 is the main item for CellML 1.2 and the dependency tree is a good way to see an overview of the items under consideration.
Organisation
The 2011 CellML Workshop is being organised by David Nickerson, Auckland Bioengineering Institute, The University of Auckland.
