Some of the Noble models need to support diff operators in various places. To support this properly, we could use the equation in several possible ways: 1) Perform a Newton-Raphson solve to get the rate. 2) Substitute in the rate from the rates array. If we supported this properly, it would become much easier to re-arrange the model simply by changing what is connected to it.
